I attended a celebration of ethical excellence at the Ethical Edge LEADERS OF INTEGRITY awards luncheon as a guest of Don Harrell, Branch Manager of Merrill Lynch Laguna Niguel.\n\nThe special event honored four Orange County leaders who have modeled a sustained commitment to build trust-driven relationships that elevate and inspire those they serve. Each selected honoree represents a distinct arena of the OC business and professional community.\n\nHonorees included Irvine Police Department, Chief Dave Maggard, Team Kids, Inc., Founder and CEO, Julie Hudash, Yardhouse, Founder and CEO, Harald Herrmann, and Big Brothers Big Sisters, CEO, Keith Rhodes.\n\n
The theme was the “Power of One” and how each of us has the potential to make a positive difference in our families, organizations and communities. We were reminded by keynote speaker Paul F. Davis about the “Heart of Integrity” which is built on the principles of respect, belief, commitment, truth, honor, humility, forgiveness, gratitude, discernment and excellence.\n\n
