Emotion regulation is not about controlling what you feel, it’s about choosing how you react✨
Rather than suppressing emotion, find constructive ways to express it. Intense feelings don’t always require immediate reactions. Sometimes, they benefit from reflection 💭 Whether that’s writing in a journal, finding a few moments of stillness, or simply watching the leaves blow while taking a deep breath 🍃
Questions for Reflection:
• If I gave myself a moment to pause, what response would feel most aligned with who I want to be?
• How can I express this emotion in a way that brings clarity rather than more activation?
