I wasn't surprised, but I am glad to see these important leadership traits highlighted - especially taking downtime seriously. Leaders must find a way outside of work to recharge their batteries if they want to truly perform at the highest level and be a role...
Many leaders I coach are concerned with teams working together more effectively. A lack of trust is often at the root of team dysfunction. To build a culture of trust communicate openly, show a clear path, recognize people, allow for failure, keep your word and...

No I think she got these a little backwards. Happiness is temporary. Joy is long term. Happiness is fleeting. Joy comes from the Lord.
this lady's dress called my attention and her dress totally present the ideas of color and joy! love her dress and her talk!
Ten years ago I decorated my home in colors I loved .
Lately as I see fashion
Trends In white, grey & black ..... I have been feeling ..... " out of it".
I love the look in other people's homes , so I thought perhaps I need to redecorate. My husband didn't go along with my wishes.
Since reading this post, I feel much better about my colorful home. Thank you!
I am feeling JOY again .😂
Happiness is temporary, joy is present even through the challenging moments in life. Joy is a faith that there is something good even in the darkest moment. Happiness is fleeting at times.
I think she’s confused as well. Joy is an attitude you carry in your heart and ripples into everything. Happiness is fleeting and can be taken away.
Maybe one of the reason little kids are so joyful is their colorful primary classrooms. As they progress through the grades the classes become less visually appealing when teachers move from one room to another over the course of the day; the time and resources to decorate are too much. We all need more sprinkles in life whether they are our hobbies, our families, our homes, our lives.
this is more like nature, abundance, colorful, round shaped and airy light textures:))) Since we cannot live in nature all the time, might as well bring it in the city designs, brilliant
Love this idea!!
Colors are life.
It brightens up the world.
Especially for kids, I think it’s so important.
I always think of Jeanne when I hear about joy.... hope she’s (and y’all are) having a colorful joyful day!!! Bailey Doss Therese Dean ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
So much truth in this article. It is to be noticed that black, white and grey in interior decorating is becoming boring and colour is back. All that glass and nothingness was so depressing.
Colour for joy I say...
But there is more to it. We are conditional beings, these colors embarks joy for a reason, they have always been assosiated with positive things in our past experiences. My point is, If I had a terrifying time at school and my school was colorfully painted, colors wouldn’t be engendering feeling of joy in me in that case.
I see/feel/hear/touch/embrace/share joy through teaching music. It's nuts, but I get to be myself and to experience joy with my students.
Paul.. I’m not tagging you because you bring me joy 😒 buuut because the idea is so cool. This concept could transcend into your architectural ideas 🤷🏻♀️
I hope I don’t end up
In that nursing home 🙉 Its a bit of telling me what I should like and feel ......when we are all different and respond differently to the world around.
Genevieve Frick and Janel Esparza, I think you’d both enjoy/appreciate this. You are my personal confetti 🤗 (Greg, too, when he’s not annoying me 😉)
أشلي ويلسون we knew this when we were kids and repped it our whole lives! Easy when you walk around with a flaming orange head, you have no choice but to embrace and love color 🙂 we have awesome work spaces too!
Jan, you and Julio are the most joyful people I know. I couldn't help but think of your wonderful laughter as I wondered what brought me joy and how I could have even more in my life as well!
Last year I moved into a flat which was almost entirely grey and white, walls, floor (ceramic tiles) and ceiling. It now has pictures, a rainbow carpet, books and dvds on a perfect background 😊
This reminded me of the amazing spaces you and your team created for Urban Discovery. Not only will the atmosphere fuel creativity, it will improve vast areas for the students as well. I love it! Keep kicking booty out there! MaeLin Levine Amy Jo Levine
Jessica Amaya, this is just a cool concept to think about in general. Also. Being uncle Casey, and being involved in our little fam bam is one of the things that has brought me so much joy in the last year Jess. I say it all the time, but that little sentiment at the end of this video about sharing this with someone who brings you joy, prompted some more mushiness.
What she says makes perfect sense, I pretty much did the same thing to my new flat, started off with colorful furniture and decols, followed by some house plants, now looking forward to get a dog, fish tank and panther chameleon
Absolutely, I look forward to seeing your rainbow coloured office when I get back from Mt Isa next week Lottie Lots xo
Feel free to colourfy my space too🎉
Approaching 62, I still enjoy small moments of joy... a sunrise, eating ice cream & I just saw the fireworks close up for the 4th of July. Also, there is a hot air balloon event & I saw some on my way to work the other day. It did make me smile! ☺🍨🎆🌼🎈
Happiness is from inside you, your choice to have it or not. Same for joy, Joy is higher on the vibration scale then Happiness, hence you feeling more uplifted. It is all a choice of feeewill. I am a person that enjoys bright colors, so I choose to have them around me, ultimately uplifting my vibration of joy
Ismail Badjie ...hahahah...color is a form of life and energy!!! You’re so good Ismael, you knew it all along! No wonder our pharmacy was filled with neon color posts😂😂😂😘😘😘😘😘
What if took mental hygiene as seriously as personal hygiene? How could your life be different if you nurtured more qualities like kindness? If you can make time to brush your teeth every day, you can start this practice.
Kindness. It’s one of the earliest things we learn as children. Even though the idea is elementary, people around the globe, including the Dalai Lama, are looking to research being done in Madison to understand the positive qualities of life – kindness, compassion, and happiness.
Robbie Barstow I've heard Dr. Davidson speak at numerous conferences. 😊
