Yoga is a way to unite the mind, body and spirit.  It has been a path to a happier, healthier and more mindful existence for me.  I am excited to share that I recently completed the Silk Road (Yoga) Sangha and Multidisciplinary Yoga teacher training.

I am grateful to Daniel E. HickmanDenise Antonini and all the other You and the Mat teachers for guiding me in this never ending journey.

It is my belief that yoga can help leaders be more effective.  I have started to incorporate yoga practices with individual leaders I coach, I’ve added aspects of yoga into leadership classes I teach (including breathe work and meditation) and I am integrating yoga into corporate retreats and team building events.\n\nYoga is transforming.  The goal of yoga – samadhi – is the inner state of oneness.  To achieve this state we must be in tune with our breath, with our body, with our mind and our actions.\n\nIn the coming weeks, I will continue to draw the connection between yoga and leadership. I would also like to hear your ideas on how yoga makes better leaders.\n\n
