J9 Leading Solutions is excited to begin work this summer with the employees of  Community Senior Serv, an Orange County nonprofit-organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for older adults and their families by providing a multitude of programs and services that are designed to enrich and supplement the daily life of senior citizens and their caregivers.

\nIn affiliation with OneOC Janine McDonald will provide training and coaching to over 130 employees. As part of her organizational strategy, Holly Hagler, Chief Executive Officer, wants to invest in her staff and provide  professional development opportunities to enhance communication and team work. As a basis for the engagement, the DiSC assessment will be used to help create a deeper understanding of work styles and preferences.\n\nThere are currently 79,000 seniors living alone in the Orange County area today, and this number is expected to rise to 160,000 by the year 2020. Nearly 29,000 of these seniors are living below the federal poverty line of $10,830. Community Senior Serv is dedicated to providing warm lunches, daytime senior activities, and caregiver relief to all seniors in need, regardless of income, age, or disability. CSS firmly believes that every senior has the right to autonomy, dignity, and respect and they provide this by operating the organization with honesty and professionalism.\n\nIn 2006, Feedback Foundation and Senior Meals and Services merged to create Community Senior Serv. Since then, this organization has grown to become the largest senior nutrition provider in the State of California, and one of the largest in the entire nation. With the help of a dedicated staff, eager volunteers, and donations Community Senior Serv is able to cook and deliver over 5,000 meals a day, which is 1.5 million meals a year!\n\nCommunity Senior Serv has developed programs that provide a continuum of care at any stage of senior living. Whether it is socializing with other adults at a local Senior Center, having a warm meal delivered, or being cared for with adult day care CSS is there to enhance independence and well-being.\n\n \n\n \n
