The Volunteer Center of Orange County has taken on a new look and  a new name – OneOC.   Starting as the Volunteer Bureau of Newport Beach more than fifty years ago, the organization’s main emphasis was to connect volunteers to nonprofits who needed their help.   As time progressed, they outgrew their mission statement, initial goals, and parameters and became the Volunteer Center of Orange County,  making it clear that they were tapping into a much larger community than Newport Beach alone.   VCOC has reshaped their vision and mission  and it was time to change the name once again.\n\nOneOC better reflects who and what they are – a full-service, nonprofit resource center with an extensive offering of integrated services designed to help Orange County nonprofits reach their full potential.    They offer a wide range of Volunteer Services, Training Services, Consulting Services, and Business Services.   They are one part of a collaborative nonprofit community, and most importantly, share one vision for a stronger, more vibrant Orange County to which nonprofits contribute greatly.  Their new name enables them to focus more clearly on their mission of accelerating nonprofit success.\n\nJ9 Leading Solutions is proud to be an affiliated consultant for OneOC serving Orange County nonprofits to help increase their organizational capacity and effectiveness and enable them to focus on the important services they provide to the community.\n
